Hey there! We're Aly and Ivan Morfit, the makers behind Stardust Snuggles, a small crochet business based in Texas.

Stardust Snuggles began with a simple love for creating cozy, handmade pieces that bring comfort and joy. Aly first learned how to crochet in 2020. At the time, she heard the classic rule that beginners should never start with a plushie… so naturally, that was the very first thing she made. She’s always loved a good challenge, and that first plushie sparked a passion for crochet that never fully went away. 2020 was ALSO the year she went out and “found herself” after losing her job during the pandemic.

She rediscovered her love for making art. In high school, she took an art class and would sketch how she was feeling during a depressing time and painted her love for disney. Some time in 2023, she started drawing again and took a course from Brooke, happyfoxsupplyco, and never stopped. Would spend countless hours drawing anything and everything she could think of.

After taking a break due to personal life changes, Aly picked crochet back up again in July 2024 after seeing the cutest hexagon cardigan by TheSoulfulNow. That moment reignited her creativity and inspired her to begin creating again.

Ivan joined the crochet world in 2022 when he made our son a blanket, and together they began building Stardust Snuggles as a shared creative outlet.

The name Stardust Snuggles holds a special meaning to us. Stardust is inspired by both of their two young children, who truly light up their world. As a stay-at-home mom of two little ones under five, many of the pieces you see are crocheted in between playtime, snack time, and everyday mom moments. Snuggles represents what we love to create most — cozy, comforting handmade items that bring warmth to your home.

Our crochet style is cute, comfy, and cuddly. Aly especially loves making plushies, while Ivan enjoys crocheting blankets. Together, we create pieces meant to bring softness, comfort, and a little bit of handmade magic into your life.

Most of our creations are made using carefully chosen patterns, though we hope to design our own patterns in the future as our business grows.

We also accept custom orders for cardigans and blankets, so if you're dreaming of something special, we'd love to help bring it to life.

Every piece from Stardust Snuggles is made with care, creativity, and a lot of love. Our hope is that when you receive one of our creations, it brings you the same warmth and comfort we felt while making it.
